Where does the visit data come from?

Pathzz BI uses anonymized mobility data sourced from opted-in smartphone users who have authorized location sharing through their mobile apps. This data represents a sample of the population.

To protect privacy, all mobility data is rounded and generalized — it never contains precise, individual-level GPS traces. The dataset is also limited in scope, which means it cannot directly measure every visit.

Pathzz BI applies advanced algorithms and statistical weighting to estimate total visits and patterns from this limited source. This produces a reliable, comparable view of regular visitation trends, but it may not capture one-off spikes caused by events (e.g., concerts, festivals, or sporting games).
